Learn About Lakewood

We are an old-fashioned, Bible-preaching church. We love God and people and we would be thrilled to welcome you and your family to our church. Learn more about us below.

Godly Music

Enjoy Godly, encouraging music at Lakewood. We love the old hymns and music that glorifies our Savior. You will be refreshed by a sound distinct from current music culture.

Bible Preaching

Every message will be preached from the Bible. We believe that the power of God's Word can change lives and help people.‚Äč

Our people love to get to know and fellowship with others. We want you to feel welcome and wanted in our church.

Sure about your eternity?

We are Sinners

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10)

We Can't

…there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Romans 3:12)

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…. (Isaiah 64:6)

God Can

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Accept God's Gift

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)

What do we believe?

We are an independent, fundamental Baptist church and we hold strongly to the fundamentals of our faith. The Bible is our sole authority in matters of a faith and practice. Worldwide Missions

Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. While all of us cannot go around the world, we can all have a part in helping those God has called to go abroad preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lakewood’s missions program does just that. As a church, Lakewood supports missionaries around the world through the Faith Promise giving of its members.
