What is Harrison Faith Bible Institute?
Harrison Faith Bible Institute (HFBI) is a three-year course studying the Bible. It is a ministry of Lakewood Baptist Church through Faith Bible Institute of Monroe, LA.
Students will study chronologically through the entire Bible and systematically through every major doctrine. Basic classes meet only one evening each week. HFBI combines solid Bible teaching with an interactive DVD Video format utilizing student workbooks, charts, 3D maps, and images to produce a unique and engaging learning experience.
HFBI is open to anyone who would like to learn about the Bible. Join with us and instructor John Yates as we study the Word of God together.

The courses are taught at a church member level of academics. No seminary or college training is necessary.

HFBI takes only one night per week and small daily assignments. It is structured to allow maximum flexibility.
Tuition
Tuition for Harrison Faith Bible Institute is affordable and several discounts are offered. In addition to the discounts offered below, Lakewood Baptist Church members attending HFBI for the first time are offered an additional discount, please contact us to inquire.

Both early and late registration totals include all textbooks and a $25 registration fee to be paid immediately. The remaining costs may be paid throughout the semester if desired. In addition to the early registration discount, a family discount is available for those enrolling more than one family member.

HFBI Instructor
John Yates (AA,BS,MAR)
John Yates is the founder and instructor of Faith Bible Institute since 1985. He has taught verse by verse through the Bible 11 times. He serves as Senior Pastor of Rowland Road Baptist Church of Monroe, LA. He began preaching in 1978 at age 15.
He is the author of Faith Bible Institute’s two seven volume commentary sets on the Old Testament and the New Testament, the four volume set on theology, as well as several other works.
Location
HFBI is a ministry of Lakewood Baptist Church and meets in the Bragg Ministry Center at the church. Parking is available in the front church parking lot. Classes begin at 6:30 p.m.
