Seth Pyles was first introduced to Lakewood Baptist Church at the age of 12 when his family joined the Church. Seth grew up under the pastoral care of Pastor Gilbert and the assistant pastor, Andrew McGowin. Through Seth’s time at Lakewood, God placed upon him a burden for children’s ministries and a burden to preach the Gospel.

As a teenager, Seth attended Camp BIMI where he felt the Lord leading him into ministry. Seth took a few missions trips to foreign fields and continued to seek the Lord’s direction. While on a missions trip to Africa during his senior year of high school, Seth felt God leading him to Ambassador Baptist College. He began studying pastoral ministries at Ambassador in 2020.

Following his graduation in 2024, Seth has returned to Lakewood Baptist Church to oversee the outreach ministries of the church. Seth and his wife Kristen are excited to see what God is going to do through the outreach ministries and their  journey in ministry.
